Everything you need to know about the swarm.
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is a satirical political movement created to voice the frustrations of India's unemployed youth. We use humor and satire to highlight serious systemic issues, demanding accountability from those in power.
The CJP was founded by Abhijeet Dipke, a 30-year-old digital media strategist from Aurangabad, Maharashtra, through a viral post on X/Twitter on May 16, 2026.
During a Supreme Court hearing on May 15, 2026, regarding highway protests by unemployed youth, CJI Surya Kant allegedly made a remark comparing the protesting crowds blocking the highways to an infestation of cockroaches. This comment sparked outrage and directly led to the naming of our movement.
No. The CJP is not registered with the Election Commission of India. We are a satirical movement, an internet phenomenon, and a community of frustrated citizens. We do not contest elections (yet).
You can 'join' the movement by generating your official CJP ID card on our homepage. It requires a small payment which helps keep our servers running and the movement alive.
Our 5 demands are: 1. No post-retirement Rajya Sabha seats for CJIs. 2. UAPA for the CEC if legitimate votes are deleted. 3. 50% women's reservation in Parliament immediately. 4. Break up media monopolies and investigate Godi media funding. 5. 20-year election ban for defecting MLAs and MPs.
It is our core ideology. We believe in equality for all (Secular), fair distribution of resources (Socialist), the power of the vote (Democratic), and the right of the youth to protest from their couches using memes rather than blocking highways (Lazy).
Absolutely not. The CJP ID card is purely a satirical novelty item. It holds no legal weight and cannot be used for identification, voting, or any government purpose. It is solely for flaunting your support for the movement on social media.
